Good Morning! Today is my day to post at Pinque Peacock! I guess you are wondering why I titled my post left overs. Well let me explain, I used the left overs from the mini crafty kit to make my project today!
So here are the left overs:
And here is the card I created:
Lately, I've not been adding a sentiment to my card until I am ready to use it. This card can be used as a birthday card, a thank you card or just about anything you wanted.
everyone!Today I have made for you
something that I think would be wonderful to use at those summer picnics,
birthday parties and bridal and baby showers.
of drinking cups/glasses is one of the few ways to cut down on the expense of lost/thrown-away
paper and plastic cups.We all know the
Sharpie pairs well with the Solo Cup,
but what can you do if you want to be a
little (not much) more upscale than a Solo Cup?Mason jars are a great way to save money on cups, and be environmentally
friendly at the same time. These can be
used over and over again.
have created a chalkboard tag and embellished with both a Pinque Peacockfeltpopper and Pinque Peacockfabric covered button.I have used unraveled paper twine to run
through the tag hole and tie around the neck of the jar.Of course, all of these products and colors
can be changed for your event.Best of
all, the chalkboard tags can be re-used again and again!
to fewer thrown away cups at your Summer party!
Today I did a Primative Style Christmas Ornament using some of the awesome products from Pinque Peacock. Using these fun Miniatures Wire Clothes Hangers I attached a piece of burlap (contact Jessica to find out how you can order up the burlap).. I took and rubbed Vintage Phot Distressing Ink to give it an aged look. Next I added a piece of antique lace and then attached these ADORABLE Rustic Accent Tin 2-D Mini Stars. Next i created the tag using my CAMEO and added the cute gingham check (I LOVE GINGHAM) ribbon!!!
Hurry on over to Pinque Peacock and order up some of the awesome metal accents!!

Thank you PINQUETTE Rhonda for the fun Christmas Ornament!!!
I am always looking for fun new cuts to turn into cards. This week I found these fun cuts for my cameo. They are fast and easy and there are so many things you could do with the cut.
Using simple Kraft Stock paper, I cut out the flower card. I tried a few different things with it before I was happy with it. I tried to ink just the inside edges of the flower, (epic fail), I tried to ink just the outside edges of the flower, (epic fail) and in the end, I liked it just plain.
I layered the cut card over a piece of brown card stock. I used the offset feature in my cameo software to get the same exact rounded corners as the flower. I think it would look really cute with a patterned paper underneath as well.
Did you know that Pinque Peacock sells adorable paper straws?! I was so excited. I think they are a simple yet adorable touch. I bought these at the awesome sale that was held last month.
This was so easy to create. I wrapped ribbon around my bottle of pop and then overlapped it to create a spot for the straw. I added a bow and then stamped my sentiment. It is so easy but makes a cute little gift to hand out.
I have many favourite products with Pinque Peacock. Today I have chosen to spotlight EMBOSSING FOLDERS. Embossing folders are one of my first scrapbooking loves. From the minute I first saw them used I have been collecting them. (and using them!!) I love the versatility of each embossing folder. Here are some of the embossing folders Jessica sells in the store. The Witches Boot... good for Halloween (or Christmas as Elves Boots)
Hello my pretty little feathered friends! How are you today! I am soooo excited because I have another Crafty Kit Club project to share. Today, I used the mini kit, it's a pencil box.
This is the kit!
I have to admit I had no clue what I was going to do with it. So I kinda sat around waiting for an idea to pop into my head; and this is what I came up with:
First, I pained the entire box box, except for the inside, I painted it pink. Next, I tore off bits of the brown, green, light pink, dark pink and cream colored tissue and used my Mod Podge to stick it to the box randomly. I then added some ruler washi tape, which you can purchase at Pinque Peacock and finally cut out the cute pencil and scissors using my trusty Cricut to finish it off.
You can find the Crafty Kit or the Mini Crafty Kit HERE!
