Good morning Crafters!
I hope you all had a chance to hop through the spectacular

Today is my day to show you a great way to use your
 
My husband and I had a chance to visit Nashville, TN this past
August and we had a great time @ the Hard Rock Cafe. I
decided to scrap a few of the guitars we saw showcased there.

After I had layered my pictures, I had a brainstorm: why not add
a few "strings" (as in guitar strings) to the layout. Unfortunately
the wire didn't show up so I opted for cording instead.


I love how the fabric covered button brings out the
cording and brings out my journal "tag".

It's our newest PINQUETTE, Amanda
here today with an awesome creation!!!
 
 
Hey everyone! What I have to share with you today
is simply "Out of this World!" ... Literally! :)

I made this customized door plaque by covering the wooden
cutout with paper and mod podge (I think I need to take up stock in that stuff!)
I painted the outer edge and paper pieced this cute little rocketeer,
planet and spaceship. I then saw this fabric covered button laying on my desk and thought
 "Hey, that would make an awesome planet!"
So... here it is :)

Yappy Birthday From our Guest Designer

How are all of our Pretty Little Peacocks Today?   Today we have a fabulous Designer Tess from Sassy Cricut Crafting. 
She did such an amazing job, make sure to stop by and leave her some love.

Happy Monday everyone!  Today I am blessed to be a Guest Designer for my friend Jessica with Pinque Peacock.  She has a wonderful blog and a great shop you can find all homemade flowers,  beaded pins, fabric buttons and so much more.  You really need to stop in and check her out.  She is affordable and her products are not like anyone else's.

When I was shopping around at her store I saw these puppy paw fabric buttons and I knew I wanted to get them for a birthday card I was going to be making for a birthday. 
I chose to get the buttons with a flat back because I knew I wanted to out it on a card.   My inspiration for the card came from my cousin's volunteer service to Lab's and from a card I saw on Pinterest.

The Lab's are from the Pet Shop Cricut Cartridge, the Base paper is from Imaginisce, and the doggy paw paper is from  We R Memory Keepers-Friends Furever.   I did use my Cuttlebug to emboss the blue Tim Holtz paper for a more rugged look.  I stamped the sentiment with Robyn's, My Pink Stamper's - Biggie Puns.  I actually decided to not use the whole verse on the stamp, so I just inked the portions I needed for the card.  I did use CTMH's Burlap ribbon for added texture and Tim Holtz's vintage ink for distressing the sides, my die cut Lab's and for the sentiment stamping.

PINQUETTE Miranda here
with a VERY cute, HaLlOwEeN Card...BOOOO!!!

Good Morning! Today is my day to share some
Pinque Peacock awesomeness with you! When I
contacted Jessica and asked her if she could make me
some "Fall" colored products she was happy to oblige! 
Needless to say when I got all that crafty goodness I
was not disappointed. So today, I used one of the
beautiful beaded stick pins she made for me.
 
 

For some reason the big bead on this pin reminds me of
hard candy. You know the kind most of us was able to
have as children. It just looks yummy!!! 

LOL OK, I'll
admit I have a bit of an imagination. On to my card......
it's a typical A2 sized card. The image was cut using
my trusty E2 and Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge at
2 inches. I added some cute little googly eyes and some
bling to her bow. Every girl needs her bling even if you
 are an insect. The ribbon is from Wal-Mart. My background
paper is from K&Company, from I don't know maybe last y
ear or the year before. Have I ever told you I'm a scrapbook
supply hoarder. Yeah, I buy things and never want to use t
hem because they are too pretty. I really need help!! Sorry,
I tend to digress a bit. My cute little Halloween banner
was hand cut and the sentiment came from Cardz TV
Spooky Sayings stamp set. Now back to that beautiful pin,
you can find some like it here! If you want something
custom made just pick out your beads from the Bead Buffet
and let Jessica know what you are looking for. 
Or you can do like me and say "surprise me"!
 
Did I mention that Pinque Peacock now has all
sorts of crafty supplies available for your purchase.

I think this card turned out pretty.
My favorite style is CAS ~ clean and simple. I thought that these pretty papers and simple rounded corners set off by the fabulous Pinque Peacock satin fabric covered button was very nice CAS.
