Hello Everyone... I am so excited..

Today is my first official post as a Design Team member for Pinque Peacock..

I love love love all the goodies Jessica has in her store....

I have a new addiction... and that is pretty pins.... and they are gorgeous!!!!

My first project is a layout that is near and dear to my heart... It`s my Dad and my Uncle Ken..

I used a special Angel Stick Pin for the two boys... (bottom right corner of pic)

 

and my second project...

When my goodies from Jessica arrived I was soo excited..

I made this washi tape holder right away .

I knew the pink polka dotted 1.5 Fabric Covered Button would be perfect!

Hi!  I’m Darlene Pavlick (akronstamperdpk on Splitcoast Stamper) and I live in Akron, Ohio.  Husband, Mark & I are originally from Pittsburgh, PA and that is where our families reside.  We have one daughter who is married with two children, Morgan (21) and Jonathan (16) and has her own accounting business. She is the one who got me started in paper crafting about 10 years ago. She was selling Creative Memories and her friend Mindy (a fellow scrapper) was selling Stampin’ Up… to make a long story short, that’s where it all began and I’ve been paper crafting every day since. It is my passion and mental therapy! I am retired, but in the past few years have been doing some free-lance crafting for Jo-Ann Fabrics Headquarters which is based in Hudson, OH. I’ve been blessed to meet SO MANY wonderful people from around the world and many have become personal friends!

I recently learned how to make these tri-shutter cards. They are a blast to make and so very easy. And oh, what a perfect way to display the beautiful PINQUE PEACOCK green and white fabric covered button, and layered garden beauty flower. And what beautiful card is complete unless it has the beautiful pearl stick pin added as well.

Not sure if my Card Box is actually Retro, but it reminds me of the 70's and I consider that Retro!! I have a ton of this We R Memory Keepers paper and decided to use some of it up with this project. This is a Stampin' Up card box and it needed 5 sheets of paper to cover it and figured I may as well use this paper. I did love it when I bought it, but did I really need 25 sheets of it??

I used the Pinque Peacock Fabric Covered Button and one of the beautiful Beaded Stick-Pins. Here is a close-up shot and I did add bling to the center of the Fabric Covered Button.

Hi ! I thought I would share a little something that I have been up to lately with you today. My cousins little girl who just started Kindergarten this year had a birthday recently and I though I would make her an outfit. (Well, I didn't actually make the whole outfit, just added some stuff to it hehe)

I wanted to get her a shirt and put her name and something about Kindergarten on it and then I got her a skirt to go with it :) Of course I had to try my hand at making a hair bow to match. What little girl would get a new outfit and not have a matching bow LOL...

Now, I have never made hair bows before...I soooo wish that You tube was around when my girls were little. I would have been making all kinds of stuff for them. Okay sorry, reminiscing about days gone by :)

On to my project.... First up the bow, now I remind you this is the first one that I have made, so be kind. I bought the ribbon at Wal-Mart and the little feathery boa too. The fabric covered button came from the Pinque Peacock shop. Isn't it fantastic! I thought that it matched perfectly with the colors in the bow. It gives a fun look to it :)

This is the shirt that I added her name to with the glittery

pink star and then added the Kindergarten Rocks!

She loved it :)

Who we have with us today... it's

PINQUETTE Lisa in the house with a

VERY creative altered Pinque Peacock Project!

So, today, I have chosen to alter something.  
Something that isn't usually altered-oh my! I have taken two
matching swirl glass beaded stick pins I have from Pinque Peacock…
and have ….well….turned them into jewelry. I took the two stickpins,
and wire wrapped them upside down. I then used butterfly and
flower charms and coordinating beads to join them to a
3-1 earring joiner with earring hooks. I have to say, for a non-beader,
this is a great way to make jewelry quickly…!  I love how they turned out!....
these beads can also be purchased seperately at the BEAD BUFFET!!

  Julie here to share a project
with you today. This is my first
official post as a Pinque Pinquette,
and I couldn't be more excited
to be here! I love Pinque Peacock
products (say that 3 times fast)
so it is a joy to design with them.
I thought it would be only fitting to
use a peacock on my first project. 
Here's a lovely one, strutting his stuff...

I made an easel card so that peacock
would really be front and center, and also t

Donna K here today with a birthday card post.
Today is not my birthday, yesterday was!
It was also my mom's birthday...yep, we share!
This is the card I created for her.

 

Outside..I used the fabric covered button called Farm Fresh from

the Pinque Peacock shop as the center of my flower, added

some die cut leaves and a few other goodies too.

On the inside I used more of the floral paper and stamped "our" date on there.

I had fun creating this card for my sweet mom!
