Hello everyone!
It's Pinquette Jessie. I have a recycling tutorial today.
If you look at my blog you will notice I recycle a lot of containers. Since Earth Day
was Tuesday I thought this was a perfect time to share how I decide stuff.

First I want to share is few of my recycled projects.

So the first thing I look at is how hard it will be to clean the container. Honestly, I'm lazy and I don't want to scrub out containers ;) I also look at the size. I don't want to try and fill a giant container after I create it. I'll share a few of the containers I have used. The picture above is a mixed nut container. I have used peanut butter jars that my mom scrubbed out. Here they are...

I think one of my most unique containers was an old vitamin jar.My aunt knows I. Raft so she sent a bunch up to my mom for me
I have also used crystal light containers. I have a stash hidden from my hubby of Pringles cans, a Cheetos canister, more vitamin jars, peanut butter jars, and even a really cool shaped coffe jar. Everytime I eat something or go to the store I just imagine what the containers can be. It's great for the environment and it's a great way to save money in your crafting. I hope it inspires you to look at your containers differently. Can't wait to see what containers you make beautiful.

Hmm, Jessie, you got me thinking...... Thanks!
Super fun projects Jessie. I love altering jars and cans too. I cringe at the thought of throwing anything away really. Lol. Thanks for the tips!

Ooh my - what a fantastic idea this is. I have always wanted to create a can, but have never done it. Now, I see the great inspiration you have provided, and well . . . I might just have to try it
