We want to Sincerely THANK each and every Peacock who sent in an application to join the Pinquettes Design Team during the Artist & Creator Gig Call.  It was a difficult task to narrow down to only a few new Pinquettes.  Everyone who applied is FULL of TALENT and each of you could offer something new and valuable to the Team.  Although we weren't able to select everyone who applied to join the Team, we want to extend an invitation to ALL OF YOU to join us as Guest Designers in the next few months.
THANK YOU AGAIN!

It is my honor and pleasure to be able to formally introduce you to our Newest 2013 Pinque Peacock Artist & Creators

or better known around the Palace as
THE PINQUETTES!

Please take a moment to read their individual Biographies and to stop over to their Personal Blogs to share the ♥ Love ♥!  Each of the Girls have taken time to write up a wonderful
Introduction that will help you to learn more about them as Crafters, Bloggers, and Pinquettes!

Amanda Brunet

Amanda Brunet here!  When I saw the DT call posting, I figured I pretty much HAD to apply since I LOVE all their stuff!  Especially the splendid swirls!
I was excited to find out I was joining the team!

I love to paper craft, scrapbooking mostly but also cards. Recently I have done a couple altered pieces and would love to get my hands on a few more pieces (an old suitcase and some kind of shelf or furniture) to alter as well.

My style is usually pretty simplistic but I am seeing a lot of projects lately where less isn’t always more and would love to give that a shot too.

I am a mother of 3, ages 7, almost 4 and 2. Scrapbooking and crafting are my retreat, my sanity when they are in bed  I have met some of the nicest, kindest people, and made better friends online then I have with people who are local. I love this circle and love to expand it with new faces and new ideas

Julie Odil

I am so excited to be a Pinque Peacock Pinquette!  I have enjoyed the products, and loved the spirit of the team for quite some time, so being a part of it is a true joy for me!  Let me tell you a little about myself:
My name is Julie Odil, and I've always been creative.  I make my living as the activity director/music therapist at the local nursing home.  I play many instruments - piano/organ/guitar/bassoon/violin to name a few.  I have 2 Golden Retrievers - one comes to work with me every day.  When I'm not walking dogs, biking, kayaking, or riding Harley's with my husband, I like to be in my craft room getting inky.  I'm happiest when I'm creating.  Using the beautiful Pinque Peacock products only enhances the cards, layouts, altered art, and canvases that I like to create.  I look forward to having an opportunity to share my creativity with you in the coming months.

Julie has created a beautiful card to share with you today!

Miranda Enclade

Hello Crafty Friends! My name is Miranda Enclade, I am from a little commercial fishing community called Lafitte in South Louisiana! I grew up on the “bayou”!!! After Hurricane Katrina decided she liked my house in Lafitte, I moved to the “city” so to speak. LOL Actually, it’s another small rural area called Waggaman and rather than living on the bayou, I am two blocks from the mighty Mississippi!
I am a divorced mother of three terrific grown children and “Nana” to four sweet little boys. I have been in a relationship with a wonderful man named Tommy for the past fourteen years and I think of his children and grandson as my own! I am a paralegal at a local law firm. And I teach CCD (Religion) to eighth and eleventh graders at my Church.
I have never considered myself as very “crafty”. My parents and my brother all had that artsy side and could create anything and make it wonderful. I was more of a bookworm! LOL Then about 27 years ago I taught myself to decorate cakes! How does that get me to paper crafting you ask…..well because I could do that pretty well, I decided that maybe the “craft” gene hadn’t skipped me after all. Late one night back in 2009, I couldn’t sleep was watching TV and saw the infomercial for the Cricut Expression and on a whim ordered it! I received my Cricut a few weeks later and was like, hmmm…..what do I do with this. Tee Hee! My cousin was more excited than I was and talked me into going to a scrapbooking 101 class with her! Needless to say after that I was hooked. I have been paper crafting now for about 4 years and started my blog www.nanasscrapspot.com about a three years ago! I tried my hand at cards about the same time and find it very satisfying and relaxing and found it very uplifting and inspiring!
I AM SOOOOO SUPER EXCITED TO BE A PART OF SUCH AN AWESOME TEAM!!! I can only hope to inspire as much as I have been inspired!
Happy Craftin’ Miranda
