Hello Crafty Friends

Happy Saturday To You All!! 

I'm excited to share a quick and easy altered jar with you all using Pinque Peacock products. I received this jar from a friend last Sunday. She was giving away some flowers from garden and they came in this old rustic jar. I love the country feel this jar had but I thought I would spruce it up by using Tim Holtz: Pearl and Copper Adirondack Ink. I started out with the pearl and later decide the peal was enough. I went in with the copper and boy did that make all the differences. I thought I would keep up with that country feel by using some burp from Pinque Peacock Discount Hut HERE. After gluing  it down I add my paper flowers and leaves. I then picked out one of the many (one of my favorite products by Pinque Peacock by the way) Pearl Stick Pin in this beautiful brown/copper color. I just love love the way this turned out.  The beautiful flowers were found around my oldest daughter friends home. I was taking the little one on a field trip to find flowers in the neighborhood when I asked my daughter friend if they had any spring flowers blooming. To my surprise they did and I asked her mom for a few and so here they are in my new beautiful flower jar.  That's all I have for you all. An Altered Mini Tag by Pinquette Miranda

Good Morning! How are you guys? 

It's PINQUETTE Miranda here with another tag!!!! 

This tag is a much smaller one. 

I think I'm liking this now... LOL!

I used a mini tag this time. I inked it up good to make a background then stamped it with a Tim Holtz stamp. I punched a flower and curled the petals and added a covered button as the center. I added a sweet pearl stick pin and finished it off with a piece of lace.

Hello, my name is Irene Sherman

You can find my creations on my blog at Irene's Card Creations

I am a mother of 5 kids, all young adults now.

I work full time and love to make cards/projects

in my free time.

I am on the Spectrum Noir Design Team

and also Simply Betty Design Team.

The card I made here is for a dear friend

that is getting married. 

This card has the digi from "Milk Coffee" called:

Tiffany in Roses Bridal Gown.

I wanted this to be very elegant because that

is how this bride is.  Her colors are the colors I used on

this card.  When I placed the flowers on this card, it always

looks best to not have everything perfectly in order.

Having something that sticks up, odd numbers of flowers, etc.,

makes it look soo much better.  I ordered this pin from Pinque Peacock and

it worked soo perfectly to come out from the flowers and the color matched perfectly.

When I use the pins, I put a drop of Glossy Accents on the end, if it sticks out from under the flowers.

This keeps anyone from getting "stuck" from the pin.  Works great. Or use a wire

cutter to cut the stem down a little.  They have many sizes of pins so you can get whatever size best suites

your needs.  They make the pins to match what you want and I gave them ideas of what I wanted

and loved everyone I received.  Great "accent" to any project/card.

I used a diecut (music notes) and the coloring was done with Spectrum Noir Markers.

The beads are GORGEOUS and fit so many different styles.

My favorite way to use the Beaded Stick Pins is as a "bridge"

between different parts of my projects.

I created the Springtime In Paris canvas just for today's post. 

As you look at the project you'll see that I also used a few

 more Pinque Peacock goodies when I created it.

The Elegant Florals can really elevate the look of any project.

On this canvas I chose to alter mine.

How are all of our Pretty Little Peacocks Today?  We are so pleased to bring you a guest designer today.  We would like to Welcome Christine as a guest. Christine is joining us from Facebook, she is a fan over there and loves the Pinque Peacock products.

Hi Everyone! I'm Christine and very excited to be a guest designer for Pinque Peacock. I created a 12x12 layout in tribute of my husband's military service.

 

The background paper is the American Flag;  I used silver stars and letters from EK Success and white curling ribbon. I added some silver stars in the flag to make it pop.  The angel pin is from Pinque Peacock in dark blue for September's birthstone. I was so impressed with Pinque Peacock's customer service. I had emailed about getting the dark blue for the angel and she was great about getting the right shade and getting it made for me quickly. (Thanks Jessica you're the best!)
