Hello Everyone, I am back again for my monthly posting for Pinque Peacock Design Team. This month, I have a nice card to share with you. Again, I have used the

Pearl Beaded Stick Pin from Pinque Peacock. I am always amazed at how a beautiful stick pin can make a world of difference in a card.

I will be honest, I scraplifted this idea from a friend. She was making cards similar to these and I really liked the simplistic nature of them, and wanted to create a few of my own.

I don't recall if the paper used came from DCWV or Recollections. Mostly because a friend of mine shared her paper stack with me and I no longer have the wrapping. I will be honest, I use this paper sparingly, I really like it and I am afraid if I use it all, I won't be able to purchase anymore of it. I know, that sounds terrible doesn't it?
The ribbon is from 3GirlsJam, topped off with a gold pearl button (I Love adding pearl buttons to my cards) and embellished with a beautiful Pearl Beaded Stick Pin from Pinque Peacock.

As I said, the addition of the beautiful stick pin makes this card special and really changes the elegance of the card. I love adding the pins to my cards and this one really seemed to fit well with the card. I carefully tucked the end of the pin under the paper for the sentiment. I wanted to ensure no one stuck themselves with the sharp point of the pin.

I used two stamps to complete the sentiment. The Happy Birthday is from Stampin' Up "Bring On the Cake" and the flourish are from Close To My Heart "Swirls Around Flair".

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving to you all !

I realize that my friends from other countries may not be familiar with this American holiday but those of us here in the U.S. sure do love this holiday. It is suppose to be a day of being thankful. You see when our ancestors settled here they had no idea of how many hardships they would face in this new land. If it hadn't been for the Native Americans they would never have survived the harsh winters we sometime have in the northeast. At the end of harvest season they gathered together to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Since my youngest son and his wonderful girl friend are hosting Turkey Day in their new home, I thought I would make a quick tag to include on a gift I have for them. Let's take a look:

 

 

This is such a quick and easy tag and I love the stick pin from an earlier release as well as the wonderful gingham swirl flower from this months release. The PP products just make anything you create extra special!

Unfortunately and very sadly, it has also become the start of the holiday shopping season. I say sadly because many people now rush over this holiday to capture some of the Black Friday sales. Some stores are also opening on Thanksgiving Day and by passing the midnight start and cutting into the Feast their employees have come to cherish. Rest assured that the Blue laws in Massachusetts will prevent them from opening here until after midnight.

Fortunately for all of you the Pinque Peacock shop is online and ALWAYS open. So while you are waiting for your guests to arrive you can get your shopping all done, lol.

It's me, Heather from Paper Crafter Anonymous and I am sharing with you a small portion of my advent gifts I am working on for my daughters.. I have these fabulous little bags from Close to My Heart I purchased when they were on clearance. So this is my take on an advent calendar..

Each little bag will be decorated, some will have small gifts, like the second one has a gift card, others will have prompts to do good things, spirit of christmas stuff, sharing etc, some will be things to do as a family and some will be coupon type things.. It will be a great little mix of fun things for my kids year. I will close the bags staple/tape etc or punch a hole and hang them on the tree I like that the kids can choose something from the tree which is why they are not numbered. Now you know the background of the project lets talk about it..

November Stamp of the Month, Close to my Heart stamped on a Wilton Doily and spritzed with Tattered Angels Mist.. Paper is from My Minds Eye, ribbon is white colonial grosgrain ribbon and I have attached this fabulous Pinque Peacock Angel stick pin.

For the insert which will have the coupon etc written on it I used white daisy card stock,

co-ordinating paper and also spritzed it with the same Tattered Angels Mist to make it a little more cohesive.

 

This lovely envelope holds a Gift Card, I used white daisy card stock, patterned paper is also from My Minds eye. The Brown envelopes are from The Paper Company and I see a fishers tab punch for the pull out card. I added a gorgeous ELegant Floral by Pinque Peacock, with some CTMH Bling in the middle of the flower and to the right. I stamped Holiday cheer in black on a piece of brown card stock.

Happy Holly Days with Pinque Peacock!!!

This is Shelley from Scrapbookingforfun...

Today is my day to post for Pinque Peacock and I have a new release on my project this week!!!

Here are the pics then I will tell you about all the items used on the card!
 

 

I started with a solid black card base then cut a piece of Print Cardstock to fit with a little black still showing. The print cardstock is EP tis the season... Love this line of paper. I then tied a burlap strip in green around the print cardstock then glued that down. Next I added 2 Christmas holly sprigs and the cute Solid White Angel Pin. I then added one of my fav Pinque Peacock products and it is the
Pleated Petal. Now I don't see this color pictured in the shop but you can let Jessica know it is in this post and she will make it happen for you!!!! In the center I added the 3/4 inch flat back Red Burlap Button. I finished it off with a EP tag from Tis the Season and looped a piece Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine through the hole and presto, wala or any other term you want to use!!!

Sooo , I thought since I usually have quite a few people I give gift cards to. I would go ahead and get a few made. I bought this super cute stamp and decided to use some of my 3 Girl Jam and my favorite Fabric Covered Burlap Button from the Pinque Peacock shop to spruce up my gift card holder.

A Happy hello, crafty friends!
Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.
It's a cold, snowy Friday here in NW Wisconsin -- perfect for thinking about the upcoming holidays. I wanted to feature the new, fun 3/4 inch fabric covered Christmas themed buttons, so I went hunting for something I could cut out on my Silhouette.
I found a card I thought would be perfect:

This Santa hat shaped card seemed like a great way

to showcase the gingerbread men fabric button. Who needs a pom pom

when you can have a fancy schmancy button from The Pinque Peacock instead?

Woot! Happy Wednesday Everyone! Halfway through the work week!

It's me, Heather from Paper Crafter Anonymous and I am

sharing with you a simple 5 minute or less card, and it still makes an

impact because of the colors and the Sweet Swirl..

Sometimes simple is best, I don't like to spend hours agonizing over a card or project though sometimes it does happen.. So when I pulled out my stash of Pinque Peacock products I grabbed this lovely Sweet Swirl, I am loving the color combo Jess created!

Using up scraps from my desktop, I pulled the base card from a slate piece of cardstock and cut it down to 4.25x5.5, I then used a piece I cut off of the card to stamp the sentiment on. The Green pattterned paper is from Echo Park This & That and I cut it to fit the base cardstock. I glued the green cardstock to the base, then added the extra strip of slate with the sentiment, I then added the Sweet Swirl but thought it was missing something so I added some bling to the middle of the flower.

The card to me still needed a little something, so I pulled out my distresser block and distressed the edges of the cardstock pieces and I used my We R Memory keepers corner chomper and rounded the corners of the card.. Voila, my card was finished! It now sits in my stash until I need a card and can stamp the appropriate sentiment, or hand write a note on the inside.
