Hello Everyone, I am back again for my monthly posting for Pinque Peacock Design Team. This month, I have a nice card to share with you. Again, I have used the

Pearl Beaded Stick Pin from Pinque Peacock. I am always amazed at how a beautiful stick pin can make a world of difference in a card.
I will be honest, I scraplifted this idea from a friend. She was making cards similar to these and I really liked the simplistic nature of them, and wanted to create a few of my own.
I don't recall if the paper used came from DCWV or Recollections. Mostly because a friend of mine shared her paper stack with me and I no longer have the wrapping. I will be honest, I use this paper sparingly, I really like it and I am afraid if I use it all, I won't be able to purchase anymore of it. I know, that sounds terrible doesn't it?
The ribbon is from 3GirlsJam, topped off with a gold pearl button (I Love adding pearl buttons to my cards) and embellished with a beautiful Pearl Beaded Stick Pin from Pinque Peacock.
As I said, the addition of the beautiful stick pin makes this card special and really changes the elegance of the card. I love adding the pins to my cards and this one really seemed to fit well with the card. I carefully tucked the end of the pin under the paper for the sentiment. I wanted to ensure no one stuck themselves with the sharp point of the pin. I will be honest, I scraplifted this idea from a friend. I used two stamps to complete the sentiment. The Happy Birthday is from Stampin' Up "Bring On the Cake" and the flourish are from Close To My Heart "Swirls Around Flair".
Thanks for stopping in to check out my project today.
