Hello Pretty Peacocks...
Hope all is well!!... Today I have a gift card holder
that I made using a coin envelope from the "Life Abloom"
Printable Journal and sentiments both from Tsunami Rose designs.
I love making these and decorating them for gift giving... the
envelope is just another little keepsake for the lucky
person getting a gift. This one I have made for a very
dear friend. I have added some lace, mublerry flowers
a butterfly charm . Then I added Pinque Peacocks
ADORABLE 3/4 Eyelet Button in the
Mini Rose Pattern... its sooo cute and works
sooo well with the paper and the flowers!!!
Easy Peazy... and fun to do!!!

Hey everyone!  Today…I decided to create a project

for outside.  I have a neglected little corner of my crafty

yard….where I create with my green thumb, but

is neglected by my crafty thumb….MY GREENHOUSE. 

Today, I have used some of Pinque Peacock’s gorgeous

Layered GardenBeauties for a wreath for my greenhouse

door!  This is a simple floral foam wreath form,

layered with jute twine.  I have added loomed flowered,

in both ribbon and jute, along with burlap bows to

create this awesome addition to the outside of my

normal crafty space. This makes me so happy to

approach the door of my greenhouse in

the heat and humidity this time of year!

Hello My Creative Friends

Happy Sunday!!

Welcome to my second post as a Pinquette.

I have two projects for you all today.

A Card

Altered Felt Poppers.

I had so much fun playing with Pinque Peacock Felt Poppers.
I dress these precious in my Gollum voice but (thinking like Smeagol)
up with glitter... LOL! I love Lord Of The Rings & The Hobbit.

As you can see I had so much fun playing with them
that I made more just to have in advance. I just love these!
I have so many more ideas in my head
these little PRECIOUS... LOL!

I just love the way they turned out. I would like to call
them Star Dust Felt Poppers. Doesn't it look like
someone sprinkle star dust on them? They turned out so

cute and will be perfect to add a little sparkle here and their on my creations.

Here is my card for today. I used the beautiful blues and
one of my Favorite colors YELLOW Felt Poppers that I
altered. The papers are from My Minds Eye: Collectable:
"Notable" I cut this cute little shape out using my Cameo.
Use a cute banner from My Creative Time stamp set:
Chocolate Greetings. And some gems to give it that extra
sparkle. For the one's on my card I add a little ink to
darken them up a little. They all are so cute and easy to make.

Now how cute are these Star Dust Felt Poppers I made?

Hello everyone !! I hope you are having a fantastic

day in whatever part of the country you live in:)

I am posting my Pinquette project for you

today and I am so glad you stopped by.

Since, I have gotten my Silhouette I have been getting

more into putting vinyl on things, and today is no

exception LOL. A friend of mine at work is moving

back up north, and she loves wine. So, when I saw

this wine glass, I knew I had to make her one.

Especially since she is going to stay through inventory

before she leaves...heck I might just need to make o

ne for myself just to keep my sanity LOL..

 

I thought this was soo cute and just loved the saying.

I saw it on the Happy Sil site on Facebook ( a great and helpful group )!

I downloaded the file for it , but changed the font on

it since I wanted to make it a little fancier. Then

I added the bows, the tag that I made on my Silhouette

and the gorgeous button that Jessica made for me at Pinque Peacock.

There are so many beautiful things that Pinque Peacock

has to offer, if you haven't been there already you

really should visit. They have Awesome stuff!!!!

Hey there, ho' there…how are our peacocks today? Thank you for joining me for my project today.  Before we get to it, I have a few admissions…. I HATE to be disorganized… I like my home to run like a finely tuned machine. I have a husband, a 14 year old son, a 10 year old daughter, 2 adult children, 1 grandchild, 2 dogs and a cat…. ANY freaking idea how long it has been since my home has run like a finely tuned machine?  LOL…(me either!).  Moreover, my two kids at home live part-time with us, and part-time with…well…”the one we do not speak of”…so it’s even more difficult to communicate on a daily basis. I have tried the gammet of household communication techniques…neither of the two have text devices, sticky notes lost are blamed on “the cat”…enter Charlie Brown teacher noises here…something to the tune of “wah wah…wah wah wah wa..”  So… I have made a family communication board with the help of Pinque Peacock!  (Enter second admission here)….I hate…HATE…LOATHE…will scratch my eyes out at the site of…. office and organizational supplies that look like office and organizational supplies! I stopped working at an office long ago. I left the land of sticky notes, dry erase meeting boards, magnetic calendars, etc. to stay home with my family… not to indoctrinate my home into that world.  I love organizational supplies….I just want them to be…”homey.”  (harder than it looks). For this project I took $10 worth of supplies and turned it into a world of peace and sanctuary for me.  It starts with a chalkboard paint covered cookie pan…the cheapest one ever… the ones that make that awful noise the minute you put them into the oven… the ones that you are AFRAID to bake things on.  I painted it with chalkboard paint…

 

THEN, I found, OMG, OOOHHH MY GAWWDDD, the most awesome sauce

CORK initials…so I got one for each member of my family.  I decorated them to match my décor (which, duh… includes crackle).  

They have magnets on the back, so… not only are they mini bulletin boards… they are magnets!  I picked a Pinque Peacock stick pin for each as our “thumbtacks” (I HATE thumbtacks and pushpins!

Then, I picked some felt poppers and buttons, attached magnets, and wrapped them in Hemp twine (which is my pull it all together medium”)  I actually used the twine to reinforce the bond between the buttons and poppers and magnets.  I added a few river rocks…well…because my whole kitchen is stone…stone floor, stone counters, stone walls, blah blah blah.  I added grommets and twine at the top, and VOILA’ a kitchen communitcation center!  And you know how I know it works?  After these pics….I now have a note that my 10 year old needs bodywashed…pinned stylishly with my Pinque Peacock pin to my “L” (cuz well…I gather things for the family…I am the “gatherer”)  So yeah… It works. Do it… Do it NOW.  I am more organized tonight than I have been in 6 years.  Whew.

Thanks for stopping by on my Pinque Peacock project day!

My sweet friend Jessica, owner of the Pinque Peacock,
sent me this beautiful button to use on a project

(featuring Peacock colors) this month.

I love the lovely little "gems" on the satin material and
wanted the button to be the highlight of my project.

Let's take a look at the card I created for you today.

Once I knew I wanted the button to be the focus of

my project, I started checking out some files on the

Silhouette site. When I came across this sunburst

file, I knew I had just what I wanted!

Since we are featuring Peacock Colors this month on

the blog, I layered various peacock colored

cardstock behind the overlay of the sunburst.

 

 

This allowed me to have this pretty button in a

place where it would stand out and be noticed!

 

 

I knew this card needed just a little something "extra"

so to tie in with the silver gems on the button, I

added some liquid pearls to the beams of the sunburst.

Today we have an adorable springtime
project from PINQUETTE Janet Royer

There's a bunny in my garden!

Well that's about all that's in my garden

at this point since Spring has done a

retreat and left the Midwest. I made this

little woven paper basket, papers from

CTMH, and threw in this cute little bunny

and his carrots, some leftover Easter eggs

(because they just look cheery) and

Pinque Peacock Felt Poppers. Since my

flowers are not blooming, at least it looks

Springy in my house. Now if the rain ever

quits and the flooding leaves.. we might

actually get a garden out this year! If you're

Good Morning Everyone.

Rebecca here from Bloomingpink Studios.

Back to the daily grind....but before we get ourselves

all depressed about that, take a gander at the calendar

frame I put together...Finally.

I've had it sitting on my dining room table waiting

for me to get my act together and finish it. NOW,

I'll have a nice calendar for my cubicle at work.

 

 

I used one of PINQUE PEACOCK'S wonderful fabric covered buttons,

 newly released this month, to center my pretty yellow paper flower.

At least I finished it at a time of year when everything

is blooming pink and coming up roses.
